And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name [was] Boaz.

摩押女子路得对拿俄米说：「容我往田里去，我蒙谁的恩，就在谁的身後拾取麦穗。」拿俄米对她说：「我女儿啊，妳只管去。」
And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after [him] in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

路得就去了，来到田里，在收割的人身後拾取麦穗；她恰巧到了以利米勒本族的人波阿斯的一块田里。
And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field [belonging] unto Boaz, who [was] of the kindred of Elimelech.

波阿斯正从伯．利恒来，对收割的人说：「愿 耶和华与你们同在。」他们回答他说：「愿 耶和华赐福与你。」
And, behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD [be] with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

波阿斯就问他监管收割的仆人说：「这是谁家的女子？」
Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel [is] this?
路得记 2:6 · Ruth 2:6
监管收割的仆人回答说：「是摩押女子，跟随拿俄米从摩押地回来的；
And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It [is] the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

她说：『请你容我跟着收割的人拾取打捆剩下的麦穗。』她从早晨直到如今常在这里，就在屋子里坐一会儿。」
And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
路得记 2:8 · Ruth 2:8
波阿斯就对路得说：「我女儿啊，妳岂没有听见麽？不要往别人田里拾取麦穗，也不要离开这里，倒要常与我使女们在一处；
Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

妳眼要看我的仆人在那块田收割，并跟着他们去；我岂没有吩咐少年人不可挨近妳麽？妳若渴了，就可以到器皿那里，喝少年人打来的水。」
[Let] thine eyes [be] on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of [that] which the young men have drawn.

路得就脸伏在地叩拜，对他说：「我既是外人，怎麽在你眼前蒙你的恩，这样顾恤我呢？」
Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I [am] a stranger?
路得记 2:11 · Ruth 2:11
波阿斯回答她说：「自从妳丈夫死後，凡妳向婆婆所行的丶并妳离开父母和本地，到素不认识的民中，这些事人全都告诉我了。
And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and [how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
路得记 2:12 · Ruth 2:12
愿 耶和华照你所行的赏赐妳，妳来信靠 耶和华─以色列 上帝的翅膀下，愿妳满得他的赏赐。」
The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

路得说：「我主，愿我在你眼前蒙喜悦；我虽然不及你的一个使女，你还用友善的话安慰我的心。」
Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
路得记 2:14 · Ruth 2:14
波阿斯对她说：「到了用餐的时候，妳到这里来吃饼，将一点饼蘸在醋里。」路得就在收割的人旁边坐下；他们把烘了的穗子递给她，她吃饱了，还有馀剩的。
And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched [corn], and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
路得记 2:15 · Ruth 2:15
到她起来拾取麦穗的时候，波阿斯吩咐他的少年人说：「她就是在捆中拾取麦穗，也可以容她，不可羞辱她；
And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

并要特意为她掉出几把来，留在地下，使她拾取，不可叱吓她。」
And let fall also [some] of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave [them], that she may glean [them], and rebuke her not.
路得记 2:17 · Ruth 2:17
这样，路得在田间拾取麦穗，直到晚上，又将所拾取的打了；约有一伊法大麦。
So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.
路得记 2:18 · Ruth 2:18
她就把所拾取的带进城去；她婆婆看见她所拾取的，她带来，又把她吃饱了所剩的给了婆婆。
And she took [it] up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.
路得记 2:19 · Ruth 2:19
她婆婆问她说：「妳今日在哪里拾取麦穗呢？在哪里作工呢？愿那顾恤妳的得福。」路得就告诉她婆婆说：「我今日在一个名叫波阿斯的人那里作工。」
And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day [is] Boaz.
路得记 2:20 · Ruth 2:20
拿俄米对她儿妇说：「愿那人蒙 耶和华赐福，因为他不断地恩待活人死人」。拿俄米又对她说：「那人是我们近亲，是一个近我们的亲属。」
And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed [be] he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man [is] near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

摩押女子路得说：「他又对我说：『妳要紧随我的少年人拾取麦穗，直等他们收完了我一切的庄稼。』」
And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.
路得记 2:22 · Ruth 2:22
拿俄米对她儿妇路得说：「我女儿啊，妳跟着他的使女出去，不叫人遇见妳在别人田间，这才为好。」
And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, [It is] good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.

於是路得与波阿斯的使女常在一处拾取麦穗，直到收完了大麦和小麦；并且与她婆婆同住。
So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.
