你们要在锡安吹号，在我圣山吹出大声。国中的居民都要发颤。因为 耶和华的日子将到，已经临近；
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand;

那日是黑暗丶幽冥丶密云丶乌黑的日子，好像晨光铺满山岭。有一队民又大又强；从来没有这样的，以後直到世世代代也必没有。
A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the years of many generations.

他们前面如火吞灭，後面如火焰烧尽。未到以前，地如伊甸园；过去以後，成了荒凉的旷野；没有一样能躲避他们的。
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

他们的形状如马，奔跑如马兵。
The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

在山顶蹦跳的响声如车辆的响声，又如火焰烧碎稭的响声，好像强盛的民摆阵预备打仗。
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

他们一来，众民多有疼痛，脸都发黑。
Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

他们如勇士奔跑，像战士爬城；各都步行，不乱队伍。
They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
约珥书 2:8 · Joel 2:8
彼此并不拥挤，向前各行其路，就是落在刀上，也必不致受伤。
Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
约珥书 2:9 · Joel 2:9
他们在城中跑来跑去，跑上墙，爬到屋上，进入窗户如同盗贼。
They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

在他们面前，大地要摇撼，诸天要震动，日月必致昏暗，星宿也必无光。
The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
约珥书 2:11 · Joel 2:11
耶和华在他军旅前发声，他的队伍甚大；成就他命的是强盛者。因为 耶和华的日子大而可畏，谁能当得起呢？
And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
约珥书 2:12 · Joel 2:12
耶和华说：虽然如此，你们应当禁食丶哭泣丶悲哀，一心归向我。
Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
约珥书 2:13 · Joel 2:13
你们要撕裂心肠，不撕裂衣服。归向 耶和华─你们的 上帝；因为他有恩典，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且後悔不降所说的灾。
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
约珥书 2:14 · Joel 2:14
或者他转意後悔，留下馀福，就是留下献给 耶和华─你们 上帝的素祭和奠祭，也未可知。
Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
约珥书 2:15 · Joel 2:15
你们要在锡安吹号，分定禁食的日子，宣告严肃会；
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
约珥书 2:16 · Joel 2:16
聚集众民，使会众自洁：招聚长老，聚集孩童和吃奶的；使新郎出离洞房，新妇出离内室。
Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
约珥书 2:17 · Joel 2:17
事奉 耶和华的祭司要在廊子和祭坛中间哭泣，说： 耶和华啊，求你顾惜你的百姓，不要使你的产业受羞辱，使异教的民管辖他们；为何容他们在民中说：「他们的 上帝在哪里」呢？
Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God?
约珥书 2:18 · Joel 2:18
耶和华就为自己的地发热心，怜恤他的百姓。
Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
约珥书 2:19 · Joel 2:19
耶和华应允他的百姓说：看哪，我必赐给你们五谷丶新酒，和油，使你们饱足；我也不再使你们在异教民中受羞辱；
Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
约珥书 2:20 · Joel 2:20
却要使北方来的军队远离你们，将他们赶到乾旱荒废之地，前队赶入东海，後队赶入西海；因为他们所行的大事，臭气上升，腥味腾空。
But I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
约珥书 2:21 · Joel 2:21
地土啊，不要惧怕；要欢喜快乐，因为 耶和华行了大事。
Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
约珥书 2:22 · Joel 2:22
田野的走兽啊，不要惧怕；因为，旷野的草长出，树木结果，无花果树丶葡萄树也都效力。
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
约珥书 2:23 · Joel 2:23
锡安的民哪，你们要快乐，为 耶和华─你们的 上帝欢喜；因他赐给你们合宜的秋雨，为你们於正月降下甘霖，就是秋雨丶春雨，和先前一样。
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

禾场必满了麦子；酒醡与油醡必有新酒和油盈溢。
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
约珥书 2:25 · Joel 2:25
我打发到你们中间的大军队，就是蝗虫丶尺蠖丶毛虫丶蛾虫，那些年所吃的，我要补还你们。
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
约珥书 2:26 · Joel 2:26
你们必多吃而得饱足，就赞美为你们行奇妙事之 耶和华─你们 上帝的名。我的百姓必永远不至羞愧。
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
约珥书 2:27 · Joel 2:27
你们必知道我是在以色列中间，又知道我是 耶和华─你们的 上帝；在我以外并无别神。我的百姓必永远不致羞愧。
And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
约珥书 2:28 · Joel 2:28
以後，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言；你们的老年人要作异梦，少年人要见异象。
And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和使女。
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

「在诸天之上，大地之下，我要显出奇事，有血，有火，有烟柱。
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

日头要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血，这都在 耶和华大而可畏的日子未到以前。
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
约珥书 2:32 · Joel 2:32
到那时候，凡求告 耶和华名的就必得救；因为照 耶和华所说的，在锡安山，耶路撒冷必有拯救，在剩下的人中必有 耶和华所召的。」
And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
