耶和华的话临到毗土珥的儿子约珥。
The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

约珥书 1:2 · Joel 1:2
老年人哪，当听我的话；国中的居民哪，都要侧耳而听。在你们的日子，或你们列祖的日子，曾有这样的事吗？
Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
约珥书 1:3 · Joel 1:3
你们要将这事传与子，子传与孙，孙传与後代。
Tell ye your children of it, and [let] your children [tell] their children, and their children another generation.
约珥书 1:4 · Joel 1:4
蛾虫剩下的，蝗虫来吃；蝗虫剩下的，尺蠖来吃；尺蠖剩下的，毛虫来吃。
That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.
约珥书 1:5 · Joel 1:5
酒醉的人哪，要清醒哭泣；好酒的人哪，都要为新酒哀号，因为从你们的口中断绝了。
Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
约珥书 1:6 · Joel 1:6
有一国又强盛又无数，侵犯我的地；它的牙齿如狮子的牙齿，大牙如巨狮的大牙。
For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth [are] the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
约珥书 1:7 · Joel 1:7
它毁坏我的葡萄树，剥了我无花果树的皮，剥尽而丢弃，使枝子露白。
He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast [it] away; the branches thereof are made white.
约珥书 1:8 · Joel 1:8
我的民哪，你当哀号，像处女腰束麻布，为幼年的丈夫哀号。
Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
约珥书 1:9 · Joel 1:9
素祭和奠祭从 耶和华的殿中断绝；事奉 耶和华的祭司都悲哀。
The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn.
约珥书 1:10 · Joel 1:10
田荒凉，地悲哀；因为五谷毁坏，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。
The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
约珥书 1:11 · Joel 1:11
农夫啊，你们要惭愧；修理葡萄园的啊，你们要哀号；因为大麦小麦与田间的庄稼都灭绝了。
Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
约珥书 1:12 · Joel 1:12
葡萄树枯乾；无花果树衰残。石榴树丶棕树丶苹果树，连田野一切的树木也都枯乾；众人的喜乐尽都消灭。
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, [even] all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
约珥书 1:13 · Joel 1:13
祭司啊，你们当腰束麻布痛哭；伺候祭坛的啊，你们要哀号；事奉我 上帝的啊，你们要来披上麻布过夜，因为素祭和奠祭从你们 上帝的殿中断绝了。
Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
约珥书 1:14 · Joel 1:14
你们要分定禁食的日子，宣告严肃会，招聚长老和国中的一切居民到 耶和华─你们 上帝的殿，向 耶和华哀求。
Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders [and] all the inhabitants of the land [into] the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
约珥书 1:15 · Joel 1:15
哀哉。 耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到，好像毁灭从 全能者来到。
Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD [is] at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
约珥书 1:16 · Joel 1:16
粮食不是在我们眼前断绝了吗？欢喜快乐不是从我们 上帝的殿中止息了吗？
Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, [yea], joy and gladness from the house of our God?
约珥书 1:17 · Joel 1:17
谷种在土块下朽烂，谷仓也荒凉，仓房也破坏；因为五谷枯乾了。
The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
约珥书 1:18 · Joel 1:18
牲畜何竟哀鸣。牛群混乱，因为无草；羊群也受了困苦。
How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
约珥书 1:19 · Joel 1:19
耶和华啊，我向你呼求，因为火吞灭旷野的草场；火焰烧尽田野的树木。
O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.
约珥书 1:20 · Joel 1:20
田野的走兽向你哀鸣；因为溪水乾涸，火也吞灭旷野的草场。
The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
