从耶西的根必出一杖，有一 苗裔必从他根而生。
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

耶和华的灵必住在他身上，就是使他有智慧和聪明的灵，谋略和能力的灵，知识和敬畏 耶和华的灵；
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
以赛亚书 11:3 · Isaiah 11:3
又必使他因敬畏 耶和华有活知识。他行审判不凭眼见，断是非也不凭耳闻。
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
以赛亚书 11:4 · Isaiah 11:4
他却要以公义审判贫穷人，以公正判断世上的谦卑人。他必以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

公义必当他的腰带，信实必当他肺腑的带子。
And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

豺狼也必与绵羊羔同居，豹子与山羊羔同卧；少壮狮子与牛犊并肥畜同群；小孩子要牵引它们。
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

牛必与熊同食；牛犊必与小熊同卧。狮子必吃草，与牛一样。
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
以赛亚书 11:8 · Isaiah 11:8
吃奶的孩子必玩耍在毒蛇的洞口；断奶的婴儿必按手在鸡蛇的穴上。
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

在我圣山遍处，它们都不伤人，不害物；因为认识 耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

到那日，必有一耶西的根立作众民的大旗；外邦人必寻求它。他的安息必大有荣耀。
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

当那日， 主必第二次伸手救回自己百姓中所馀剩的，就是在亚述丶埃及丶巴忒罗丶古实丶以拦丶示拿丶哈马，并众海岛所剩下的。
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
以赛亚书 11:12 · Isaiah 11:12
他必向列国竖立大旗，招回以色列被赶散的人，又从地的四方聚集分散的犹大。
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
以赛亚书 11:13 · Isaiah 11:13
以法莲的嫉妒也必消散，犹大的敌人必被剪除；以法莲必不嫉妒犹大，犹大也不扰害以法莲。
The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
以赛亚书 11:14 · Isaiah 11:14
他们要向西飞，扑在非利士人的肩头上；他们必一同掳掠东方人。他们要伸手按住以东和摩押；亚扪人也必顺服他们。
But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
以赛亚书 11:15 · Isaiah 11:15
耶和华必使埃及海的舌头全然灭绝；他要摇动他的手用他的大风使大河分为七条，令人过去不致湿脚。
And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make [men] go over dryshod.
以赛亚书 11:16 · Isaiah 11:16
必有一条大道为他馀剩的百姓，就是从亚述剩下的；如当日以色列从埃及地上来一样。
And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
