（亚萨的诗歌。） 上帝啊，求你不要静默； 上帝啊，求你不要闭口，也不要不作声。
(A Song [or] Psalm of Asaph.) Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

诗篇 83:2 · Psalms 83:2
看哪，因为你的仇敌喧嚷，恨你的抬起头来。
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
诗篇 83:3 · Psalms 83:3
他们同谋奸诈要害你的百姓，彼此商议要害你所隐藏的人。
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
诗篇 83:4 · Psalms 83:4
他们说：来吧，我们将他们剪灭，使他们不再成国。使以色列的名不再被人记念。
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

他们同心商议，彼此结盟，要抵挡你，
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

就是住帐棚的以东人和以实玛利人，摩押和夏甲人，
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

迦巴勒丶亚扪，和亚玛力丶非利士并推罗的居民。
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

亚述也与他们连合；他们作罗得子孙的帮手。细拉。
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

求你待他们，如待米甸；如在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样。
Do unto them as [unto] the Midianites; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

他们在隐．多珥灭亡；他们给地上成如粪土。
[Which] perished at En-dor: they became [as] dung for the earth.

求你叫他们的贵族像俄立和西伊伯；叫他们的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿；
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

就是说：「我们要得 上帝的住处，作为自己的产业」的。
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

我的 上帝啊，求你叫他们像轮子，像风前的碎稭。
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

火怎样焚烧树林，火焰怎样烧着山岭，
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

求你也照样用狂风逼迫他们，用暴雨使他们惊惶。
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
诗篇 83:16 · Psalms 83:16
愿你使他们满面羞耻，好叫他们寻求你─ 耶和华的名啊。
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
诗篇 83:17 · Psalms 83:17
愿他们永远抱愧惊惶，愿他们受辱灭亡；
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

使人知道你─独名为「 耶和华」的，全地以上乃为至高。
That [men] may know that thou, whose name alone [is] JEHOVAH, [art] the most high over all the earth.
