诗篇 40:1 · Psalms 40:1
（大卫的诗，交与伶长。）我曾耐性等候 耶和华；他垂听我的呼求。
(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

诗篇 40:2 · Psalms 40:2
他从祸坑里，从淤泥中，把我拉上来，使我的脚立在磐石上，使我脚步稳当。
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, [and] established my goings.
诗篇 40:3 · Psalms 40:3
他使我口唱新歌，就是赞美我们 上帝的话。许多人必看见而惧怕，并要倚靠 耶和华。
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
诗篇 40:4 · Psalms 40:4
那倚靠 耶和华丶不理会狂傲和偏向虚谎之辈的，这人便为有福。
Blessed [is] that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
诗篇 40:5 · Psalms 40:5
耶和华─我的 上帝啊，你所行的奇事，并你向我们所怀的意念甚多，不能向你数算。若要陈明，其事不可胜数。
Many, O LORD my God, [are] thy wonderful works [which] thou hast done, and thy thoughts [which are] to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: [if] I would declare and speak [of them], they are more than can be numbered.
诗篇 40:6 · Psalms 40:6
祭物和礼物，你不喜悦；你已经开通我的耳朵。燔祭和赎罪祭非你所要。
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
诗篇 40:7 · Psalms 40:7
那时我说：看哪，我来了。我的事在经卷上已经记载了。
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book [it is] written of me,
诗篇 40:8 · Psalms 40:8
我的 上帝啊，我乐意照你的旨意行；你的律法在我心里。
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart.
诗篇 40:9 · Psalms 40:9
我在大会中传扬公义的佳音；看哪，我未曾止住我的嘴唇。 耶和华啊，这是你所知道的。
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
诗篇 40:10 · Psalms 40:10
我未曾把你的公义藏在心里；我已陈明你的信实和你的救恩；我在大会中未曾隐瞒你的慈爱和诚实。
I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
诗篇 40:11 · Psalms 40:11
耶和华啊，求你不要向我止住你的慈悲。愿你的慈爱和诚实常常保佑我。
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
诗篇 40:12 · Psalms 40:12
因有无数的祸患围困我，我的罪孽追上了我，使我不能昂首；这罪孽比我的头发还多，我就心寒胆战。
For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
诗篇 40:13 · Psalms 40:13
耶和华啊，求你开恩搭救我。 耶和华啊，求你速速帮助我。
Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
诗篇 40:14 · Psalms 40:14
愿那些寻找我丶要灭我命的，一同蒙羞抱愧；愿那些愿我遭灾的，都被赶退受辱。
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
诗篇 40:15 · Psalms 40:15
愿那些对我说啊哈丶啊哈的，因羞愧而败亡。
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
诗篇 40:16 · Psalms 40:16
愿一切寻求你的，因你高兴欢喜。愿那些喜爱你救恩的，常说：当尊 耶和华为大。
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
诗篇 40:17 · Psalms 40:17
但我是困苦穷乏的， 主仍顾念我；你是帮助我的，搭救我的。我的 上帝啊，求你不要耽延。
But I [am] poor and needy; [yet] the Lord thinketh upon me: thou [art] my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
