异教的民为甚麽争闹？众民为甚麽谋算虚妄的事？
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

诗篇 2:2 · Psalms 2:2
世上的君王一齐起来，臣宰一同商议，要敌挡 耶和华并他的受膏者，说：
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
诗篇 2:3 · Psalms 2:3
我们要挣开他们的捆绑，脱去他们的绳索。
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
诗篇 2:4 · Psalms 2:4
那坐在诸天的必发笑； 主必嗤笑他们。
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
诗篇 2:5 · Psalms 2:5
那时，他要在怒中责备他们，在烈怒中惊吓他们，
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
诗篇 2:6 · Psalms 2:6
说：我已经立我的君在锡安─我的圣山上了。
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

受膏者说：我要传圣旨。 耶和华曾对我说：你是我的 儿子，我今日生你。
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
诗篇 2:8 · Psalms 2:8
你求我，我就将异教之民赐你为基业，将地极赐你为田产。
Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
诗篇 2:9 · Psalms 2:9
你必用铁杖打破他们；你必将他们如同陶匠的瓦器摔碎。
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
诗篇 2:10 · Psalms 2:10
现在，你们君王哪，应当省悟。你们世上的审判官该受管教。
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
诗篇 2:11 · Psalms 2:11
当存畏惧事奉 耶和华，又当存战兢而快乐。
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
诗篇 2:12 · Psalms 2:12
当以嘴亲 子，恐怕他发怒，在他的怒气稍微发作的时候，你们便从道上灭亡。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
