诗篇 127:1 · Psalms 127:1
（所罗门上行之诗。）若不是 耶和华建造房屋，建造的人就枉然劳力；若不是 耶和华看守城池，看守的人就枉然警醒。
(A Song of degrees for Solomon.) Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.

你们清晨早起，夜晚安歇，吃愁苦的饼，本是枉然；唯有 耶和华所亲爱的，必叫他安然睡觉。
[It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.

看哪，儿女是 耶和华所赐的产业；所怀的胎是他所给的赏赐。
Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.
诗篇 127:4 · Psalms 127:4
少年时所生的儿女好像勇士手中的箭。
As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth.
诗篇 127:5 · Psalms 127:5
箭袋充满的人便为有福；他们在城门口和仇敌说话的时候，必不至於羞愧。
Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
