智慧建造房屋，凿成七根柱子；
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

箴言 9:2 · Proverbs 9:2
她宰了牲畜；调好旨酒；又摆了筵席。
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
箴言 9:3 · Proverbs 9:3
她打发使女出去；自己在城中至高处呼叫，
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,

说：谁是愚蒙人，可以转到这里来。又对那无知的人说：
Whoso [is] simple, let him turn in hither: [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
箴言 9:5 · Proverbs 9:5
你们来，吃我的饼，喝我调和的酒。
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine [which] I have mingled.
箴言 9:6 · Proverbs 9:6
要舍弃愚蒙，就得存活，并要走聪明的道。
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

指斥亵慢人的，必受辱骂；责备恶人的，必被玷污。
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked [man getteth] himself a blot.
箴言 9:8 · Proverbs 9:8
不要责备亵慢人，恐怕他恨你；要责备智慧人，他必爱你。
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
箴言 9:9 · Proverbs 9:9
指示智慧人，他就越发有智慧；教导义人，他就增长学问。
Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning.
箴言 9:10 · Proverbs 9:10
敬畏 耶和华是智慧的开端；认识至圣者便是聪明。
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
箴言 9:11 · Proverbs 9:11
你藉着我，日子必增多，年岁也必加添。
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
箴言 9:12 · Proverbs 9:12
你若有智慧，是与自己有益；你若亵慢，却必独自担当。
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but [if] thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear [it].
箴言 9:13 · Proverbs 9:13
愚昧的妇人喧嚷；她是愚蒙，一无所知。
A foolish woman [is] clamorous: [she is] simple, and knoweth nothing.
箴言 9:14 · Proverbs 9:14
她坐在自己的家门口，坐在城中高处的座位上，
For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

呼叫过路的，就是直行其道的人，
To call passengers who go right on their ways:

说：谁是愚蒙人，可以转到这里来。又对那无知的人说：
Whoso [is] simple, let him turn in hither: and [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
箴言 9:17 · Proverbs 9:17
偷来的水是甜的，暗吃的饼是好的。
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread [eaten] in secret is pleasant.
箴言 9:18 · Proverbs 9:18
人却不知有死人在她那里，她的客在地狱的深处。
But he knoweth not that the dead [are] there; [and that] her guests [are] in the depths of hell.
