我儿，要留心我智慧的话语，侧耳听我聪明的言词，
My son, attend unto my wisdom, [and] bow thine ear to my understanding:

箴言 5:2 · Proverbs 5:2
为要使你谨守谋略，嘴唇保守知识。
That thou mayest regard discretion, and [that] thy lips may keep knowledge.
箴言 5:3 · Proverbs 5:3
因为外女的嘴滴下蜂蜜，她的口比油更滑；
For the lips of a strange woman drop [as] an honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil:
箴言 5:4 · Proverbs 5:4
她至终却苦似茵蔯，锋利如两刃的刀。
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.
箴言 5:5 · Proverbs 5:5
她的脚下入死地；她脚步踏住地狱。
Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
箴言 5:6 · Proverbs 5:6
恐怕你衡量生命的道，她的路变迁不定，使你不能知道。
Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, [that] thou canst not know [them].
箴言 5:7 · Proverbs 5:7
所以众子啊，现在你们要听从我，不可离弃我口中的话。
Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
箴言 5:8 · Proverbs 5:8
你所行的道要离她远，不可就近她的房门，
Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

恐怕将你的尊荣给别人，将你的岁月给残忍的人；
Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

恐怕外人满得你的财物，你劳碌得来的，归入外人的家；
Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours [be] in the house of a stranger;
箴言 5:11 · Proverbs 5:11
终久，你皮肉和身体消毁，你就悲叹，
And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

说：我怎麽恨恶训诲，心中藐视责备，
And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
箴言 5:13 · Proverbs 5:13
也不听从我教师的话，又不侧耳听那教训我的人。
And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

我在圣会里，几乎落在诸般恶中。
I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
箴言 5:15 · Proverbs 5:15
你要喝自己池中的水，饮自己井里的活水。
Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
箴言 5:16 · Proverbs 5:16
你的泉源应当涨溢在外，你的河水也当流在街上。
Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, [and] rivers of waters in the streets.

唯独归你一人，不可与外人同用。
Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.
箴言 5:18 · Proverbs 5:18
要使你的泉源蒙福；要与你幼年所娶的妻同乐。
Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
箴言 5:19 · Proverbs 5:19
要使她如可爱的獐鹿，可喜的母鹿；愿她的两乳使你时时知足，她的爱情使你常常恋慕。
[Let her be as] the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
箴言 5:20 · Proverbs 5:20
我儿，你为何恋慕外女？为何抱外人的胸怀？
And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
箴言 5:21 · Proverbs 5:21
因为，人所行的道都在 耶和华眼前；他也衡量人一切的路。
For the ways of man [are] before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
箴言 5:22 · Proverbs 5:22
恶人必被自己的罪孽捉住，他必被自己罪恶的绳索缠绕。
His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
箴言 5:23 · Proverbs 5:23
他因不受训诲就必死亡；又因愚昧过甚，必走迷了路。
He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
