「你们心里不要忧愁；你们信 上帝，也当信我。
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

在我 父的家里，有许多大宅。若是没有，我就早已告诉你们了。我去原是为你们预备地方去。
In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去，我在哪里，叫你们也在那里。
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

我往哪里去，你们知道；那条路，你们也知道。」
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

多马对他说：「 主啊，我们不知道你往哪里去，怎麽知道那条路呢？」
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

耶稣说：「我就是道路丶真理丶生命；若不藉着我，没有人能到 父那里去。
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

你们若认识我，也就认识我的 父。从今以後，你们认识他，并且已经看见他。」
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

腓力对他说：「求 主将 父显给我们看，我们就知足了。」
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

耶稣对他说：「腓力，我与你们同在这样长久，你还不认识我吗？人看见了我，就是看见了 父；你怎麽说『将 父显给我们看』呢？
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?

我在 父里面， 父在我里面，你不信吗？我对你们所说的话，不是凭着自己说的，乃是住在我里面的 父作他自己的事。
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

你们当信我，我在 父里面， 父在我里面；即或不信，也当因我所作的事信我。
Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

我实实在在的告诉你们，我所作的事，信我的人也要作，并且要作比这更大的事，因为我往 父那里去。
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

你们奉我的名无论求甚麽，我必成就，叫 父因 儿子得荣耀。
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

你们若奉我的名求甚麽，我必成就。」
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

就是真理的 灵，乃世人不能接受的；因为不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他，因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。
[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

我不会使你们得不到安慰，我必到你们这里来。
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我，你们却看见我；因为我活着，你们也要活着。
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

到那日，你们就知道我在我 父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

有了我的命令又遵守的，这人就是爱我的；爱我的必蒙我 父爱他，我也要爱他，并且要向他显现。」
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

犹大，不是加略人犹大，对耶稣说：「 主啊，你怎麽要向我们显现，不向世人显现呢？」
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

耶稣回答说：「人若爱我，就必遵守我的道；我 父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

不爱我的人就不遵守我所说的；你们所听见的道不是我的，乃是差我来之 父的道。」
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

「我还与你们同在的时候，已将这些话对你们说了。
These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you.

但 安慰者，就是 父因我的名所要差来的 圣灵，他要将一切的事指教你们，并且要叫你们想起我对你们所说的一切话。
But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

我留下平安给你们；我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

你们听见我对你们说了，我去还要到你们这里来。你们若爱我，因我说我到 父那里去，就必喜乐，因为我 父是比我大的。
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

现在事情还没有成就，我预先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候就可以信。
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
约翰福音 14:30 · John 14:30
以後我不再和你们多说话，因为这世界的王将到。他在我里面是毫无所有；
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
约翰福音 14:31 · John 14:31
但要叫世人知道我爱 父，并且 父怎样吩咐我，我就怎样行。起来，我们走吧。」
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
