你们当在耶路撒冷的街上跑来跑去，在宽阔处寻找，看看有一人行公平求真理没有？若有，我就赦免这城。
Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be [any] that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.
其中的人虽然指着永生的 耶和华起誓，所起的誓实在是假的。
And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.
耶和华啊，你的眼目不是看顾诚实吗？你击打他们，他们却不伤恸；你毁灭他们，他们仍不受惩治。他们使脸刚硬过於磐石，不肯回头。
O LORD, [are] not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, [but] they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
所以我说：这些人实在是贫穷的，是愚昧的，因为不晓得 耶和华的作为和他们 上帝的法则。
Therefore I said, Surely these [are] poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, [nor] the judgment of their God.
我要去见尊大的人，对他们说话，因为他们晓得 耶和华的作为和他们 上帝的法则。哪知，这些人齐心将轭折断，挣开绳索。
I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, [and] the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, [and] burst the bonds.
因此，林中出来的狮子必害死他们；晚上的豺狼必灭绝他们；豹子要在城外窥伺他们。凡出城的必被撕碎；因为他们的罪过极多，背道的事也加增了。
Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, [and] a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, [and] their backslidings are increased.
我怎能因此赦免你呢？你的儿女离弃了我，又指着那不是神的起誓；我使他们饱足，他们就犯奸淫，成群地聚集在娼妓家里。
How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by [them that are] no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.
他们像早晨喂饱的马，各向他邻居的妻发嘶声。
They were [as] fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.
耶和华说：我岂不因这些事讨罪呢？岂不报复这样的国民呢？
Shall I not visit for these [things]? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
你们要上她葡萄园的墙施行毁坏，但不可毁坏净尽，只可除掉她的栏杆，因为不属 耶和华。
Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they [are] not the LORD'S.
原来以色列家和犹大家大行诡诈待我。这是 耶和华说的。
For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.
他们虚传 耶和华，说：这并不是他，灾祸必不临到我们；刀剑和饥荒，我们也看不见。
They have belied the LORD, and said, [It is] not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
先知的话必成为风；道也不在他们里面。这灾必临到他们身上。
And the prophets shall become wind, and the word [is] not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
所以 耶和华─大军之 上帝如此说：看哪，因为你们说这话，我必使我的话在你口中为火，使这百姓为柴；这火便将他们吞灭。
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
耶和华说：看哪，以色列家啊，我必使一国的民从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是从古而有的国。他们的言语你不晓得，他们的话你不明白。
Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it [is] a mighty nation, it [is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
他们的箭袋是敞开的坟墓；他们都是勇士。
Their quiver [is] as an open sepulchre, they [are] all mighty men.
他们必吃尽你的庄稼和你的粮食，是你儿女该吃的；必吃尽你的羊群牛群，吃尽你的葡萄和无花果；又必用刀空乏你所倚靠的坚固城。
And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, [which] thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
耶和华说：「只是到那些日子，我不将你们毁灭净尽。
Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.
百姓若说：『 耶和华─我们的 上帝为甚麽向我们行这一切事呢？』你就回答他们说：『你们怎样离弃了我，在你们的地上事奉外邦众神，也必照样在不属你们的地上事奉外邦人。』」
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these [things] unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land [that is] not your's.
当传扬在雅各家，报告在犹大说：
Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
愚昧无知的百姓啊，你们有眼不看，有耳不听，现在当听这话。
Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
耶和华说：你们怎麽不惧怕我呢？我以永远的定例，用沙为海的界限，水不得越过。因此，你们在我面前还不战兢吗？波浪虽然翻腾，却不能逾越；虽然匉訇，却不能过去。
Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand [for] the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
但这百姓有背叛忤逆的心；他们叛我而去，
But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.
心内也不说：我们应当敬畏 耶和华─我们的 上帝；他按时赐雨，就是秋雨春雨，又为我们定收割的节令，永存不废。
Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
你们的罪孽使这些事转离你们；你们的罪恶使你们不能得福。
Your iniquities have turned away these [things], and your sins have withholden good [things] from you.
因为在我民中有恶人。他们埋伏，好像设网的人；他们设立圈套陷害人。
For among my people are found wicked [men]: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
笼内怎样满了雀鸟，他们的房中也照样充满诡诈；所以他们得成为大，而且富足。
As a cage is full of birds, so [are] their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
他们肥胖光润，作恶甚於恶人。他们不为人断案，就是不为无父的断案，却仍亨通；也不为穷人辨屈。
They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
耶和华说：我岂不因这些事讨罪呢？岂不报复这样的国民呢？
Shall I not visit for these [things]? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
国中有可惊骇丶可惧怕的事：
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
就是先知说假预言，祭司藉他们把持权柄；我的百姓也喜爱这些事，到了结局你们怎样行呢？
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
