便雅悯地亚拿突城的祭司中，希勒家的儿子耶利米的话记在下面。
The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that [were] in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

耶利米书 1:2 · Jeremiah 1:2
犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚在位十三年， 耶和华的话临到耶利米。
To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
耶利米书 1:3 · Jeremiah 1:3
从犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬在位的时候，直到犹大王约西亚的儿子西底家在位的末年，以至十一年五月间耶路撒冷人被掳的时候， 耶和华的话也常临到耶利米。
It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
耶利米书 1:4 · Jeremiah 1:4
耶利米说，那时， 耶和华的话临到我说：
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
耶利米书 1:5 · Jeremiah 1:5
我未将你造在腹中，我已晓得你；你未出母胎，我已分别你为圣；我已立你作列国的先知。
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
耶利米书 1:6 · Jeremiah 1:6
我就说： 主耶和华啊，求你观看。我不知怎样说，因为我是年幼的。
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I [am] a child.
耶利米书 1:7 · Jeremiah 1:7
耶和华对我说：你不要说我是年幼的，因为我差遣你到谁那里去，你都要去；我吩咐你说甚麽话，你都要说。
But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I [am] a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
耶利米书 1:8 · Jeremiah 1:8
不要惧怕他们的脸色：因为我与你同在，要拯救你。这是 耶和华说的。
Be not afraid of their faces: for I [am] with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
耶利米书 1:9 · Jeremiah 1:9
於是 耶和华伸手按我的口， 耶和华对我说：看哪，我已将我的话放在你口中。
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
耶利米书 1:10 · Jeremiah 1:10
看哪，我今日立你在列邦列国之上，为要施行拔出丶拆毁丶毁坏丶倾覆，又要建立丶栽植。
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

耶和华的话又临到我说：「耶利米，你看见甚麽？」我说：「我看见一根杏树枝。」
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
耶利米书 1:12 · Jeremiah 1:12
耶和华对我说：「你看得不错；因为我要急速施行我的话，使得成就。」
Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
耶利米书 1:13 · Jeremiah 1:13
耶和华的话第二次临到我说：「你看见甚麽？」我说：「我看见一个烧开的锅，朝北而倾。」
And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof [is] toward the north.
耶利米书 1:14 · Jeremiah 1:14
耶和华对我说：「必有一灾从北方发出，临到这地的一切居民。」
Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
耶利米书 1:15 · Jeremiah 1:15
耶和华说：「看哪，我要召北方列国的众族；他们要来，各安座位在耶路撒冷的城门入口，周围攻击城墙，又要攻击犹大的一切城邑。
For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
耶利米书 1:16 · Jeremiah 1:16
至於这民的一切恶，就是离弃了我丶向别神烧香丶敬拜自己手所造的，我要发出我的判语，攻击他们。
And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
耶利米书 1:17 · Jeremiah 1:17
所以你当束腰，起来将我所吩咐你的一切话告诉他们；不要因他们的脸色惊惶，免得我使你在他们面前羞愧。
Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
耶利米书 1:18 · Jeremiah 1:18
看哪，我今日使你成为坚城丶铁柱丶铜墙，与全地和犹大的君王丶首领丶祭司，并地上的众民反对。
For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
耶利米书 1:19 · Jeremiah 1:19
他们要攻击你，却不能胜你；因为我与你同在，要拯救你。这是 耶和华说的。」
And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I [am] with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
