以色列家啊，要听我为你们所作的哀歌：
Hear ye this word which I take up against you, [even] a lamentation, O house of Israel.

阿摩司书 5:2 · Amos 5:2
以色列处女跌倒；她不得再起。她被弃在己地；无人扶起她。
The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; [there is] none to raise her up.
阿摩司书 5:3 · Amos 5:3
主耶和华如此说：以色列家的城发出一千兵的，只剩一百；发出一百的，只剩十个。
For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out [by] a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth [by] an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

耶和华向以色列家如此说：你们要寻求我，就必存活。
For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
阿摩司书 5:5 · Amos 5:5
不要往伯．特利寻求，不要进入吉甲，不要过到别．是巴；因为吉甲必被掳掠，伯．特利也必归於无有。
But seek not Beth-el, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beth-el shall come to nought.

要寻求 耶和华，就必存活，免得他在约瑟家像火发出，在伯．特利焚烧，无人扑灭。
Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour [it], and [there be] none to quench [it] in Beth-el.

你们这使公平变为茵蔯丶将公义丢弃於地的，
Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

要寻求那造七星和参星，使死荫变为晨光，使白日变为黑夜，命海水来浇在地上的─ 耶和华是他的名；
[Seek him] that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD [is] his name:
阿摩司书 5:9 · Amos 5:9
他使被抢夺的得力攻击力强的，以致被抢夺的前往攻击保障。
That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
阿摩司书 5:10 · Amos 5:10
你们怨恨那在城门口责备人的，憎恶那说正直话的。
They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
阿摩司书 5:11 · Amos 5:11
你们践踏贫民，向他们取去成担的麦子；你们用凿过的石头建造房屋，却不得住在其内；栽种美好的葡萄园，却不得喝所出的酒。
Forasmuch therefore as your treading [is] upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

我知道你们的罪过何等多，你们的罪恶何等大。你们苦待义人，收受贿赂，在城门口屈枉穷乏人。
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate [from their right].
阿摩司书 5:13 · Amos 5:13
所以通达人见这样的时势必静默不言，因为时势真恶。
Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it [is] an evil time.
阿摩司书 5:14 · Amos 5:14
你们要求善，不要求恶，就必存活。这样， 耶和华─大军之 上帝必照你们所说的与你们同在。
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
阿摩司书 5:15 · Amos 5:15
要恶恶好善，在城门口秉公行义；或者 耶和华─大军之 上帝向约瑟的馀民施恩。
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
阿摩司书 5:16 · Amos 5:16
主耶和华─大军之 上帝如此说：在一切街道上必有哀号的声音；在各大道上必有人说：哀哉。哀哉。又必叫农夫来哭号，叫善唱哀歌的来哀哭。
Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

在各葡萄园必有哀号的声音，因为我必从你中间经过。这是 耶和华说的。
And in all vineyards [shall be] wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
阿摩司书 5:18 · Amos 5:18
想望 耶和华日子来到的有祸了。你们到那日将有何等的结局呢？ 耶和华的日子黑暗没有光明。
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end [is] it for you? the day of the LORD [is] darkness, and not light.
阿摩司书 5:19 · Amos 5:19
景况好像人躲避狮子又遇见熊，或是进房屋以手靠墙，就被蛇咬。
As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
阿摩司书 5:20 · Amos 5:20
耶和华的日子不是黑暗没有光明吗？不是幽暗毫无光辉吗？
[Shall] not the day of the LORD [be] darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
阿摩司书 5:21 · Amos 5:21
我厌恶轻看你们的节期，也不闻你们严肃会的香气。
I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
阿摩司书 5:22 · Amos 5:22
你们虽然向我献燔祭和素祭，我却不悦纳；我也不顾你们用肥畜献的平安祭。
Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept [them]: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
阿摩司书 5:23 · Amos 5:23
要使你歌唱的声音远离我，因为我不听你弹琴的响声。
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
阿摩司书 5:24 · Amos 5:24
唯愿公平如大水滚滚，使公义如江河滔滔。
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

「以色列家啊，你们在旷野四十年，岂是将祭物和供物献给我呢？
Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

你们却抬着为自己所造之摩洛的帐幕和你们的神星龛的众像。
But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
阿摩司书 5:27 · Amos 5:27
所以我要使你们被掳到大马士革以外。这是 耶和华丶名为大军之 上帝说的。」
Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name [is] The God of hosts.
