Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, [which is] our hope;

提摩太前书 1:2 · 1 Timothy 1:2
写信给那因信主作我真儿子的提摩太。愿恩典丶怜悯丶平安从 父上帝和我们 主耶稣 基督归与你。
Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
提摩太前书 1:3 · 1 Timothy 1:3
我往马其顿去的时候，曾劝你仍住在以弗所，好嘱咐那几个人不可传异道，
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
提摩太前书 1:4 · 1 Timothy 1:4
也不可听从荒渺无凭的话语，和无穷的家谱。这等事只生辩论，并不使人在敬虔的信仰上得到造就，如今我还愿你这样行。
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: [so do].

但命令的总归就是爱；这爱是从纯净的心和无亏的良心，无伪的信心生出来的。
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:

有人偏离这些，反求虚妄的议论，
From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

想要作教法师，却不明白自己所讲说的所论定的。
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
提摩太前书 1:8 · 1 Timothy 1:8
我们知道律法原是好的，只要人用得合宜；
But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;
提摩太前书 1:9 · 1 Timothy 1:9
因为律法不是为义人设立的，乃是为不法和不服的，不虔诚和犯罪的，不圣洁和恋世俗的，弑父母和杀人的，
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
提摩太前书 1:10 · 1 Timothy 1:10
行淫和亲男色的，抢人口和说谎话的，并起假誓的，或是为别样敌正道的事设立的。
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

这是照着可称颂之 上帝交托我荣耀福音说的。
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
提摩太前书 1:13 · 1 Timothy 1:13
我从前是亵渎 上帝的，逼迫人的，伤害人的；然而我还蒙了怜悯，因我是不信不明白的时候而作的。
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief.
提摩太前书 1:14 · 1 Timothy 1:14
并且我们 主的恩是格外丰盛，使我在 基督耶稣里有信心和爱心。
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
提摩太前书 1:15 · 1 Timothy 1:15
「 基督耶稣降世，为要拯救罪人。」这话是可信的，是十分可佩服的。在罪人中我是个罪魁。
This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
提摩太前书 1:16 · 1 Timothy 1:16
然而，我蒙了怜悯，是因耶稣 基督要先在我这罪魁身上显明他一切的忍耐，给後来信他得永生的人作榜样。
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
提摩太前书 1:17 · 1 Timothy 1:17
但愿尊贵，荣耀归与那不能朽坏不能看见永世的 君王，独一全智的 上帝，直到永永远远。阿们。
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

我儿提摩太啊，我照从前指着你的预言，将这命令交托你，叫你因此可以打那美好的仗。
This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
提摩太前书 1:19 · 1 Timothy 1:19
常存信心和无亏的良心。有人丢弃良心，就在信仰上如同船破坏了一般。
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
提摩太前书 1:20 · 1 Timothy 1:20
其中有许米乃和亚历山大；我已经把他们交给撒但，使他们受责罚就不再亵渎了。
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
