凡信耶稣是 基督的，都是从 上帝而生；凡爱生他的，也必爱从他所生的。
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

约翰一书 5:2 · 1 John 5:2
我们若爱 上帝，又遵守他的诫命，因此就知道我们爱 上帝的儿女。
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

我们遵守 上帝的诫命，这就是爱他了；并且他的诫命不是难守的。
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

胜过世界的是谁呢？不是那信耶稣是 上帝 儿子的吗？
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
约翰一书 5:6 · 1 John 5:6
这借着水和血而来的就是耶稣 基督，不是单借着水，乃是借着水和血。并且有 灵作见证，因为 灵就是真理。
This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

在天上作见证的原来有三，就是 父， 道，与 圣灵；这三乃是一的。
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

在地上作见证的也有三，就是 灵，水，与血；这三样也都归於一。
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

我们既领受人的见证， 上帝的见证更大了；因这是 上帝的见证，是他为他 儿子所作的。
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
约翰一书 5:10 · 1 John 5:10
信 上帝 儿子的，就有这见证在他心里；不信 上帝的，就是将 上帝当作说谎的，因不信 上帝给他 儿子作的见证。
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

这见证就是 上帝赐给我们永生；这永生也是在他 儿子里面。
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

人有了 上帝的 儿子就有生命，没有 上帝的 儿子就没有生命。
He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

我们若照他的旨意求甚麽，他就听我们，这是我们在他里面所存的信心；
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

我们既知道他听我们一切所求的，就知道我们所求於他的，无不得着。
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

人若看见他兄弟犯了不至於死的罪，就当为他祈求，他必将生命赐给那不至於犯了死罪的。有至於死的罪；我不说他当为这罪祈求。
If any man see his brother sin a sin [which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

凡不义的事都是罪；也有不至於死的罪。
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

我们知道凡从 上帝生的，必不犯罪，从 上帝生的，必保守自己，那恶者也就无法害他。
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
约翰一书 5:19 · 1 John 5:19
我们又知道，我们是属 上帝的，全世界都卧在邪恶之下。
[And] we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
约翰一书 5:20 · 1 John 5:20
我们也知道， 上帝的 儿子已经来到，且将智慧赐给我们，使我们认识那位真实的，我们也在那位真实的里面，就是在他 儿子耶稣 基督里面。这是真 上帝，也是永生。
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
约翰一书 5:21 · 1 John 5:21
小子们哪，你们要自守，远避偶像。阿们。
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
